  • What is the shipping fee?
    For DHL, You can check the DHL shipping fee for this month from below button. The left hand side is the weight in kg. The Zone chart for each country is at the 2nd tab. For EMS, we provide 10% off from the regular price. For over 300kg, you can also consider ECMS. If you are looking for cheaper shipping cost to Hong Kong, It could be 20% cheaper if we use Air forwarder. Please note it could take 1-2 weeks for delivery after the parcels are ready at our warehouse. It is because of the documentation preparation, both countries customs clearance and on land transportation. Their services and quality would certainly worse than DHL as well. DHL delivers in 1 day. For Domestics shipping (within Japan), and Container (Pallets), and Forwarding service (Air Cargo/FCL/LCL), please check with us directly with thanks.
  • What kind of shipment method does Omakase provide?
    We can provide any kind of shipment. DHL Express, Japan Post office EMS[10%discount from regular price]/SEA/Airmail , Air courier, Sea Container dry LCL/FCL. We provide the best solutions as per your expectation of delivery. *Caution about cosmetic products Only Non-Aviation Dangerous Proofed Products can be shipped by DHL/ Air Courier. Products without alcohol are fine but for those containing alcohol, please contact Omakase JP for checking.
  • How long does it take to deliver my order?
    We gather your orders from different suppliers and group it into one single shipment. In that way, you save the most. Please be reminded that we do not keep stock. Your order will be processed upon payment and it usually takes 7 business days to have your order ready at our warehouse. It is to assure that we always provide the latest available products to our customers. For over 3 cases(cartons) per one product(SKU), it might take more than 7 business days. Please check with us if you have any concerns on the delivery. For the delivery period, it depnds on the shipping method you have chosen and the distance between your country to Japan.   • Do you ship to my country?
    Yes. We ship worldwide. If you don't find it at the check-out cart, Submit the order with a different(random) country and send us an email/message after done.
  • Do you ship within Japan?
    We only ship to warehouse where gathers the order that is going to ship overseas. It can be your friend's house but Omakase reserves the right of the final decision. Before placing your order, please make sure you have spoken through with your shipping agents. The document required for customs clearance at Japan side could be complicated and we might not be able to provide. Omakase Japan Wholesale Platform does not take any responsibility for any conlicts between you and your shipping agents or any extra costs occured after shipping out from our warehouse.
  • Does the shipment come with insurance?
    You can choose to insure your parcels by adding insurance fee. Please note that the amount of compensation depends on the price of the product declared on the shipping invoice. For EMS (express mail service), please click the below link for the detail condition. https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/ems/service/damage_en.html For Sea/Air parcels, 400JPY for a parcels less than 20000JPY. From then, 50JPY will be added for every 20000JPY.
  • Why do I get charged for additional shipping fee when I receive my Proforma Invoice?
    The automatically calculated shipping fee at the check-out cart is only for reference. To our deepest regret, our system are not capable of calculating the correct shipping charge when the total weight is more than 30kg. We are doing our best to solve the issue but unable to come up with a solution at this point. Moreover, DHL changes its fuel charges every month. We will calculate the correct shipping fee and show on the Proforma Invoice.
  • Can I use my forwarder?
    Yes. Both Air & Sea are possible. Here's the step for your reference. Step 1: We provide the order information (size & weight), then you will check the shipping price with your forwarder in your country. Once you are okay with the shipping quotation from them, ask them to inform their Japan agents. Step 2: The Japan agent will contact us by email. And we will be asked to submit various of document to get customs approval from them. Step 3: We got the approval (some items could get rejected, it depends on your forwarder's decision). Then we will ship your order to their warehouse or they arrange pick-up. The above process usually take 1 week for the 1st time. If you order the same product in your 2nd order, no more approval will be required. Please be reminded that we only process your order upon payment of the invoice. You can pay in prior during checking, and got those rejected products to be shipped by Japan Post Office.
  • Could you ship via DHL?
    Yes, we ship most of our orders by DHL with a competitive rate. Fedex is not supporting for shipping cosmetics products. UPS can be shipped under your account but please note we need extra time to handle the order because we used to ship by DHL.
  • Can I track my order?
    Yes, once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to track the progress of your shipment on the shipping carrier's website.
  • Do you ship International and Local Amazon FBA?
    We do ship Amazon FBA locally and around the globe. We are here to assist the purchasing. Also, we provide labeling service in extra cost. We will send the goods to your assigned warehouse. However, you will be the one to deal with Amazon FBA and the Destination country's custom clearance. Please be reminded that Duty and Taxes are not included.
  • Do you do labeling?
    Here’s our charges for labelling for your consideration. 60mm Width x 24mm Height ¥25 each + ¥500 every generated label per order e.g. 4901433081474 Heroine make SP Mascara Remover 108units ¥25 X 108 + ¥500 =¥3200 And the content/label has to be provided by your side. Any wrong labelling by buyer side, correction will be an additional charge and Omakasejp.com is not responsible for such cases. The ¥500 will be charged once. (First order) For future orders, it will be simply the label ¥25 cost

  • How to order?
    The price shown on the website are all in Wholesale Price. You can simply add the products into the cart and check out your order by choosing your country and the shipping method. Please note for order weight over 30kg, the shipping price is inaccurate. We will calculate the correct amount and inform you the final price in 1 business day. You are not required to pay any cents to check out the cart. Please note we charge 3% extra handling fee for Paypal/Credit card.
  • Is there a minimum quantity(MOQ) or expense(MOP) for an order?
    Yes. The total product value should be over ¥25,000 as a minimum. On top of it, the minimum order of each SKU is 10 units. If your total order is over ¥25,000, you can customize to lower quantity of some SKU as low as 3 each but the price might be higher in some cases.
  • How should I proceed to a customised order?
    If your total order is over ¥25,000, you can customize to lower quantity as low as 3 units of some SKU but the price might be higher in some cases. When you choose to customize your order, Leave message of the quantity of the specific products when you check out. We will send you the list back for revising the quantity. Please note the unit price might be higher in some cases if you purchase less than the MOQ shown.
  • Can I order if I don't have a company?
    Omakase! (Yes). As long as you reach the minimum purchase that stated on each product. However, Please noticed that Omakase is a BtoB (wholesale) Platform. Some of the products come with selling route restriction. We also suggest customers to check in advance with your country's import regulations. Different from online shopping like Amazon, we do not responsible for the cost of failure of importation. Please message or email us for further information.
  • Do you accept payments through Paypal?
    Yes, we do accept payment via Paypal. If you would like to use Credit card/Paypal, please note there will be a on-top 3% of the total value as the handling fee. The card company or Paypal is actually charging us more than 4% and we cannot bear this cost as a wholesaler as we are already bearing 1% out of 4% and for rest 3% buyer is responsible.

  • What as if the items I want is not listed on the website?

  • Can you help me to source what I want from Japan?

  • I'm not running a business but I want to buy your product.

  • Can you get the wholesale price from big brand like Seiko/ Nike Japan/ Toto?
    We are able to source but it will be parallel importation without official guarantee from maker. If the product is for Japan market only, the price we can provide will probably more expensive than retail price.
  • Skincare product expiry date
    Manufactured date is not usually found on Japanese skincaer products. Under Japanese law, expiry date is a “must” description for Food but not for Skincare products if it can last more than 3 years. There is no shelf life in Japan skin care products as long as the makers have passed the inspection to prove that the products last longer than 3 years.
  • Product Manufacture Code
    If you'd like to check the Product Manufacture Code, In most cases, We can only advise the Product Manufacture Code after we purchased the goods. Please contact us for more details. If you have already got the product on hand, you can check from https://checkexp.com/ . We do not bear any responsibility of the result from above website.
  • Are there any discounts available for bulk orders?
    Yes, we provide discounts for bulk orders. The specific discount rates may vary depending on the product and order quantity. For more details on bulk pricing and discounts, please get in touch with our customer service team.
  • Do we ship English versions of products instead of Japanese ones?
    Yes, for some products we do provide English versions but any additional cost will be responsibility of buyer. These kind of orders are prepaid and may have longer delivery times.
  • What kind of payment do you accept?
    ・Wise.com - Best exchange and least handling fee. Amount deliver in 5 minutes. ・Paypal or Credit Card with 3% extra transaction fee of the total amount (only for payment below ¥100,000JPY or Countries with difficulties on sending fund overseas) ・International T/T - Buyer responsible for both side of bank charges. *For Bank Transfer, We recommend to use Wise.com (formerly known as TransferWise) which has good exchange rate.
  • Can I pay by Western Union/ Moneygram/Revolut?
    Yes, but that will be sent to our bank account just like Overseas Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). We do not have any actual account with captioned money transfer service. Buyer will be responsible for both side of bank charges. If your money transfer service could not pay for both side of bank charges, please add on top ¥4,000 of the invoice value when processing the transfer. We recommend to use Wise.com which also has similar practise but has a competitive exchange rate & handling fee & quick service.
  • Can I pay after received the products?
    Unfortunately we only accept 100%Pre-paid. According to country's regulation, we will arrange L/C as per request. And the L/C fee will be bear by the buyer. Please contact us directly if the transaction is expected to be larger than 1 million yen.
  • Is the custom tax included in the payment? Where do we pay the custom tax at?
    No, since the custom tax will be collected at the customs and the amount of money required differs by each country, it is not included in our quotation. Please contact the custom office of your country for when and how to pay the custom tax.
  • How to deal with Bank Charges Internationally?
    Buyers are responsible for the both side of bank charges, including intermediate bank’s one. Please inform your bank when you wire the transfer at the bank’s window. For Wire/E-Transfer any bank charges, buyer will pay those charges. For your reference that it is usually cheaper if you choose to pay for both side of bank charges at your end. Kindly understand that as a wholesaler, our margin is very low. We can only offer free bank charges of our bank if the product value over ¥1,000,000.
  • Do you accept other currencies than JPY?
    Any currency comes into our bank will be converted into JPY at our bank's buying rate at that day. The invoice will always be based on the JPY. Upon payment, We will then let you know the difference between what you paid and what we received based on the JPY. Bank receipt issued by our bank can be provided upon request for evidence if you have any doubts on the received amount. It is recommended to check with the bank buying rate before processing the International T/T to avoid further following up. The exchange rate that stated on the invoice will valid for 2 business days.
